Invalidation notes that survive the open

An invalidation note is a sentence, not a feeling. Example: “This ascending channel is retired on a daily close below the lower rail and the prior swing low.” That sentence travels better than a vague plan to “see how it looks.”

During Private Chart Review we rewrite notes that mix timeframe language or that rely on intraday noise for a swing thesis. The goal is a rule you can still respect after a noisy open.

Pair every active trendline or channel with one invalidation sentence stored next to the chart. When the sentence triggers, remove the drawing the same day so tomorrow’s session starts clean.
